Difco was originally founded in Ballintubber in the 1980’s. Known then as Herbst Difco, it was the market leader in the production of sod peat machinery.
Since then, using our years of experience, Difco have continued to grow and develop a wide range of high quality, sod and milled peat extraction machinery and we have also progressed to develop innovative machinery for the construction and recycling industries.
Difco have a fully equipped precision engineering facility, where our highly skilled engineers manufacture the majority of our components in house, meaning that we have the ability to produce our machines from beginning to completion, ensuring that our products provide years of trouble-free operation for our customers.
